Hi giggles79, No, maybe I spelled that wrong. You can still study nursing or radiography as long as you are not registered in this field. However, if you are a few years older than you when you start an AHP course, this may affect your eligibility for tuition fee funding. So, as you say, you have 4 years previous training in midwifery and still want to study, this will affect your eligibility for tuition funding. Thank you, Calum

I would apply for the birthday degree to start at the beginning of year 1 and study for 3 years full time. Sorry for the questions, I just want to make sure of the information

Student finance for care graduates What university is really like A-Level Economics Paper 1 (Edexcel) informal marketing plan – 15 May 2024 If you are hoping to start a career and have already earned it, the Second Degree option is for you. bachelor’s degree in another field. This intensive undergraduate program is offered in a cohort format (all cohorts begin in the fall semester) and takes sixteen months to complete. Students take 14-17 credits per semester for a total of 60 credits.
After completing their coursework, graduates can sit for the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN) and begin new careers in the profession.
Both campuses share the same four-semester curriculum. Students must remain at the campus where they are admitted. Alterations are not permitted on campus.
About Financial Aid & Scholarships
May be considered for an immediate or conditional offer with acceptance notices rolling throughout the period. Application review begins with receipt of a completed application and all transcripts. Students with an overall GPA of 3.24 or lower will be considered in January and applicants will be notified in mid-February. Review of both rolling and January applications is on a space available basis.
College-level courses in psychology, sociology, and algebra support a student’s success in the program, although they are not required for an offer to major.
The Second Degree Program does not allow students to defer entry. If you are unable to start courses in the group you have been admitted to, we hope that you will reapply for the following year.
Applicants must successfully complete the following college-level courses (with a grade of “C” or better) by the end of the upcoming spring semester. Required courses may be equivalent Penn State courses listed below or equivalent courses at another accredited institution.
16-month Accelerated Bachelor Of Science In Nursing
Prerequisite courses may be taken at any Penn State campus or at other colleges and universities. If you are unsure whether a course is transferable to another college, please contact the Office of Undergraduate Admissions or one of the advisors listed in the contacts below.
All application materials must arrive by December 1st. We have many applicants each year and incomplete applications or late submissions will not be considered. Applications are not considered complete until Penn State receives transcripts from all graduate schools. Students who do not submit the required information by the deadline may reapply for a future cohort.
Successful applicants will receive either a full offer or a conditional offer. Conditional offers automatically convert to full offers upon successful completion of the conditional offer in May, provided students maintain a competitive GPA and complete their bachelor’s degree on time.

What To Know About Nursing School Accreditation
1. Submit the Undergraduate Re-Enrollment Form to the Registrar’s Office at the campus you are applying to. Registration forms are accepted from August 1 to December 1.
2. Submit a Second Degree Program application between August 1 and December 1 (see Application and offer deadlines).
3. Submit official transcripts for all non-Penn State work not previously submitted for undergraduate admission.
4. If you are taking classes in the upcoming spring semester, email a copy of your spring schedule (or an official transcript showing the courses scheduled) to the desired contact no later than the third week of December.
